Mad Catz outs Wireless Keyboards

Keyboard users will no more need a mouse for their pc. Mad Catz has recently launched its wireless keyboard, “Eclipse litetouch”, which also has an integrated with a 360 degree trackball with left and right mouse buttons, opposing the need for a separate mouse.

With a unique design and metal finish, the keyboard operates with 2.4GHz connection. To reduce eye strain for users, the device has an intelligent power control. This helps battery to extend its life. The keyboard has an internal rechargeable battery, Lithium-Ion battery, which gives 20 hours of battery.

This new range of litetouch keyboards is the first reconfigurable, touch-sensitive, backlit, LCD 3-in-1 touch panel. The panel is placed at the right of physical scissor keys. The LCD switches between numerical mode, MyEclipse mode and media touch with a single touch.

Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz has started that, “the pioneering new range, interest in the products has made them to introduce the litetouch to consumers in North America.” To set your favorite web sites, you can set the LCD panel to MyEclipse mode. There are 12 pre-defined icons in the panels covering shopping, health & entertainment, etc…each icon can be allocated to each category. The MyEclipse mode also offers 5 numbered buttons which can be allocated to cover up the non pre-defined topics. The system is compatible with Windows7, Vista and XP. 

The company has starting shipping this Eclipse wireless litetouch keyboard in North America. The price of this wireless keyboard is $129.99 (approx Rs. 6,000). It is available at Amazon. Mad Catz will start exporting the product from July and is expected to reach in Amazon for $99.99 (approx Rs. 4,600). You can also have this from their official website.
