Kno- Dual Screen Tablet

Have you listened of dual screen tablet?

We see a number of gadgets but this is unique. One of the gadgets producing company named D8 has been working on the dual screen tablet. Researchers from D8 are quite opposite than other companies people. Other companies try to find out the smallest gadgets, but in D8 they are trying to launch new products.

Don’t you think that one screen for a tablet is enough?
What is that D8 offer from others?

I think these are the questions that pop in your mind. The people from D8 has thought that one screen for tablet is not enough and developed Kno tablet that has two screens. The tablet is big and uses two 14.1- inch displays, having 1440*900 pixel resolution. This tablet weighs about 5.5 pounds, using NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 chip. For the data storage, it provides 16GB storage, which can be used for all your data, giving 6 hours of battery life. Due to the early stages of development, Kno is quite buggy, but the D8 is functioning in its own way. The price of this dual screen tablet was not officially released, but some say that the final model will cost around $1000.

Kno originally designed this for students as a replacement for textbook, but I think they didn’t care much about the weight of the tablet. Anyway, D8 showed us the first dual screen tablet and Kno is the first device of its kind.

Chocolate Hills

Can you imagine amazing "Chocolate Hills"?  The chocolate hills are unusual geographic formation in Bohol, Philippines. There are 1,776 hills spread in an area of more than 50 square kilometers. These hills are roofed with green grass, which turns brown during day time; this is the reason for their name as chocolate hills. These hills impress tourists from different places, so, they became as one of the tourist places in the Philippines. They are acknowledged as the country’s 3rd National Geological Monuments.

The chocolate hills are almost conical and symmetrical. These dome-shaped hills are actually made of limestone covering grass. The domes have different sizes from 98 to 160 feet, with the largest being 390feet high. They are sprinkled through out the towns of Sagbayan, Carmen and Batuan in Bohol. Due to the inadequate precipitation, the grass-covered hills become dry and turn in to chocolate brown and forms infinite rows of chocolate kisses.

Centuries ago these were formed by the uplift of coral deposits with the action of rain water and erosion. Once the coral reefs were erupted from the sea in a massive geologic shift, due to which these grassy hills were formed. The finishing touches were put by wind and water from hundreds and thousands of years.

One can stay in the hills resorts run by  the Government. The staff here is friendly, and due to the renovation, you may face some problems in these half- completed resorts. Seeing the sun rise over the bizarre landscape, you will forget the mess and can enjoy the nature.

There are many tourist guides, who will help you in reaching there. From Tagbilaran, you need to get to Dao bus terminal and turn towards Carmen. You should ask the bus driver to drop near Chocolate hills complex, approximately 4km from Carmen. You have to walk half a mile to see the most breathtaking natural views.
